The kitchen tools you reach for every day — handcrafted from solid hardwood to last for years.

Most kitchens already have a utensil drawer.

It’s usually filled with plastic spoons with melted edges, bamboo spatulas that splinter after a few months, or tools that technically work — but never felt like they were made to last.

They get replaced every year or two, quietly wearing down from heat, use, and time.

At Spritz & Pyro, we believe the tools that touch your food every day deserve more thought than that.

So we carved something better.

Our handcrafted wooden utensils are designed to replace disposable kitchen tools with simple, durable pieces made to stay in your kitchen for years.

Made the Slow Way — From Real Hardwood

Each utensil is carved from solid hardwood, currently including Maple, Walnut, and African Mahogany.

No laminates. No composite materials. No factory shortcuts.

Every piece is shaped, sanded, and finished by hand in small batches so the natural strength and beauty of the wood guide the final form.

The result is a utensil that feels balanced, durable, and comfortable in your hand — the kind of kitchen tool you instinctively reach for every time you cook.

Finished for Real Kitchen Use

After carving and sanding, each utensil is soaked in Ultra-Pro Food Safe Mineral Oil to nourish and protect the wood.

We then finish the surface with our housemade board conditioner, crafted in small batches using only two simple ingredients:

• Beeswax
• Food-safe mineral oil

No fragrances, additives, or unnecessary fillers — just a traditional blend designed to protect the wood and help maintain a durable cooking surface over time.

This process helps minimize unnecessary absorbency while keeping the utensil ready for everyday use in the kitchen.

The Kitchen Care Bundle

For those who want the full set from the start, we offer our Kitchen Care Bundle.

This bundle includes all three handcrafted utensils — the spoon, traditional spatula, and minimalist spatula — along with a small jar of our housemade board conditioner so you can properly care for them over time.

It’s the same simple blend we use in our own shop to maintain wooden tools. A light application every so often keeps the wood nourished, protected, and performing beautifully.

The complete kitchen set — with the conditioner needed to keep your utensils performing well for years.

Why Hardwood Kitchen Utensils?

A well-made wooden utensil is one of the most reliable tools you can have in the kitchen.

• Gentle on cookware surfaces
• Naturally durable hardwood construction
• Plastic-free alternative for everyday cooking
• Comfortable, balanced feel in the hand
• Designed to age beautifully with proper care

Instead of replacing utensils every few years, you end up with tools that quietly stay in rotation for a long time.

Small Batch — On Purpose

These utensils are not factory produced.

They’re made in small runs, allowing us to carefully shape, sand, and finish every surface so each piece meets the standard we expect in our own kitchen.

Because when something touches your food every day, it deserves a little extra attention.

Built to Stay in Your Kitchen

Like all Spritz & Pyro pieces, these utensils are backed by our Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty.

If a utensil fails due to craftsmanship, we will repair or replace it.

Good tools shouldn’t be disposable.
